This was a single track I made in 2011 (August, roughly) - I was very poor, working a really cool but low-paying job at the animal shelter in Augusta. I was working on the inkmink album "Sylvester" and was probably just starting to apply to graduate schools. I believe Hurricane Irene was making its way up the Atlantic coast, and so it was on my mind. Recently found this in an old mediafire link (lots of old and kind of bad tracks linked there through my tumblr). Available here for you.

This was made by looping a simple synth pad, and then sort of embellishing with other synth pads/other sounds. It was recorded live (in my living room) but then edited post recording - basically to smooth out the beginning and end.
