1.
Empty space - I am a living grave, a constant memory of what I could have been. When I finally come apart I will return all that I stole: this body and the space it took up. How do I tell you exactly what I want when my shame is a cage for the words? I hate myself more than you can know. I would not want to hurt you with me.
2.
Oh, crystal shame! A lattice interwoven into my bones - brittle and beautiful. Oh, distal pain creeping in from the periphery. By the time you feel this will it be too late?

about

Written, recorded, and mixed by Kenneth Masloski (me) between May 8 and July 6, 2016.

Part of track 2 was written in 2006 at some point (the chord progression was recovered from a note scrawled in sharpie found in my guitar case).

Track 3 was made using samples of the song, "I Talk Way Too Loud" by Us & Us Only from the Art Week 2016 sampler.
